Preparation work for excavator track installation is essential
1. Try to choose a spacious, flat, and hard site, maintaining a certain range of rotation and walking.
2. Determine the degree of detachment of the excavator. If the detachment is caused by a broken object or other malfunction, the repair personnel should be notified in a timely manner for repair.
3. Check if there are any soil, sand or stones mixed in the excavator tracks and clean them in a timely manner.
4. Use a wrench or socket to remove the grease fitting of the track, and use the excavator bucket to support the track. Rotate the track on the side that falls off, and the butter will be squeezed out along with it, causing the drive wheel to retract.

When one side of the track falls off, first connect the drive wheel, lift the upper track with a bucket, align the drive wheel and enter the inside of the track, adjust the alignment of the drive teeth with an iron rod, and align the upper drag wheel. This step has been completed by one-third.
Support the machine to walk on one side
Support the machine to walk on one side to make the track straight, then support the machine again and get off the car to adjust the lower track. Try to align the supporting wheels with the track after the track falls (this is a step that is easily overlooked by friends). By this point, two-thirds of the track has been completed. Just use the bucket to gently prop up the excavator and use the bucket teeth to hook the track so that the guide wheel enters the track. Then, adjust the track to align with the guide wheel. Next, rotate the track and add grease. At this time, the track has been assembled.

Turn the hinge joint of the chain to the middle height of both ends and knock it out. At this time, the track shoes can be placed flat and in a straight line shape, and the excavator can walk on one side directly above the track.
At this point, we need an iron rod to "guide" the track shoes towards the "right track". Starting from the driving wheel of the excavator, place an iron rod under the track shoe and support the machine to rotate the track. At this time, one person needs to operate and walk in the driver's cab. While lifting the track, rotate the track to move forward, pass through the upper supporting wheel, and walk to the position of the guide wheel. At this time, an object can be placed at the guide wheel. At this time, the two sides of the track are docked, and the movable pin shaft can be assembled.
This method is also applicable to the assembly of rubber tracks. Due to the aging of live pins, it is difficult to knock and even requires welding and cutting equipment to assemble. Therefore, this method is generally not recommended.
